Nxivm leader Keith Raniere is afraid he could get killed if he’s transferred out of the high-security Arizona prison where he is serving out his 120-year sex-trafficking sentence, The Post has learned.
The 62-year-old sicko wrote in new court documents that an impending move from the United States Penitentiary Tucson would leave him exposed to security concerns and potentially jeopardize his life.
“Because of the high profile nature of my case, and the nature of my crimes of conviction, I believe this transfer will expose me to the likelihood of being assaulted or killed by other prisoners,” Raniere whined in an affidavit filed Thursday.
The declaration came as the sex-cult leader’s attorneys asked a federal judge in Arizona for a temporary restraining order blocking the transfer.
The Bureau of Prisons on Tuesday said it could not comment on the transfers of inmates due to security and privacy reasons.
Raniere’s attorneys claimed their client was told he was being moved out of the prison because he receives “too many legal calls and visits.”
The “threat” of a transfer came only after the sick Svengali filed a motion to appeal his conviction, spurring media attention, the Nov. 3 filing states.
Raniere — who was convicted of running a master-slave group where women were branded like cattle and forced to sleep with him — complained in his affidavit about the “circumstances, punishments, and retaliation by BOP staff” that he’s allegedly been subjected to in recent months.
Prison officials barred him from calling “Battlestar Galactica” actress Nicki Clyne — the ex-wife of disgraced “Smallville” star Allison Mack — claiming he had abused his phone privileges, according to the court document.
“I questioned this improper block and was told by my counselor that they would remove it; when I was transferred it was unblocked so I resumed calling,” Raniere wrote.
The perverted master manipulator has not been in touch with Mack, who was sentenced to three years in prison in June 2021 for for serving as a Nxivm “slave master.” Clyne, who was not charged in the scheme, revealed in court papers in 2020 that she had been Raniere’s “partner” for more than 10 years.
In the affidavit, Raniere described in detail being locked up in a restrictive part of the prison called the Special Housing Unit, or the SHU, claiming “the room was contaminated with feces.”
“There were two piles on the floor, and 19 by 19 streaks on the walls,” he wrote. “The odor was overpowering and nauseating.”
He remained in the allegedly feces-covered room for approximately five hours with cellmate. Raniere has previously accused the BOP of conspiring to silence him by forcing him to room with a “hermaphroditic” inmate, identified as William Anthony Fly, who his attorneys claim could falsely accuse him of rape.
According to court papers, the cellmate has filed 75 complaints of sexual violence against other inmates, “and is noted for saying on multiple occasions, she would kill any sex offender with whom she celled.”
Raniere landed in the SHU while staff at the prison were investigating an incident in which he was allegedly beaten up by a fellow sex-trafficker inmate.
The twisted guru has since been cleared in the incident, but he “inexplicably” remains in the restrictive unit, his attorneys wrote in a September filing asking a judge to to force the BOP to send Raniere back into general population.
The BOP told the Post in a statement Tuesday: “Based on privacy, safety, and security reasons, we do not comment on an inmate’s conditions of confinement, to include transfers or reasons for transfers.”
Raniere was convicted in 2019 on seven counts including sex trafficking and racketeering for running a sex cult known as “DOS” that pulled members from his various self-help groups, including Nxivm. His appeal is pending.
