California home of Jeff Bezos’s Blue Origin passenger lists for $3.1M

The Watsonville, California home of Lane Bess, who flew on Jeff Bezos’s Blue Origin space flight with his son in 2021, is now up for sale.

Listed for $3.1 million, Bess purchased the residence in 2005 for $1.75 million, records show.

The venture capitalist, known for his work in technology, has served as principal and founder of family fund Bess Ventures and Advisory, LLC since 2015.

His mission on Blue Origin is known as the first parent-child pair to fly to space together.

Made up of three bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms, his longtime home is situated on 5.3 acres and occupies over 3,200 square feet.

Located in the gated equestrian community of Senda Ladera, amid the meadows of Larkin Valley, the home features custom lighting.

Other perks include a chef’s kitchen, bedrooms with spa-inspired ensuite baths and walk-in closets, plus a bonus room for a home office or crafting.
