Aaliyah Kikumoto trying to recreate viral Masters moment at PGA Championship

Aaliyah Kikumoto is looking for another hole-in-one moment at Oak Hill following her viral Masters fame.

Kikumoto, who became a viral sensation at the 2023 Masters last month, took to her Instagram Stories on Thursday, posting a photo of herself rocking her signature green Masters cap from Rochester, New York, where this year’s PGA Championship is getting underway.

The 19-year-old Texas Tech dancer then shared separate videos from the course, where she watched Jordan Spieth, Jason Day, and Bryson DeChambeau tee off.

It’s been a crazy few weeks for Kikumoto, whose profile has continued to rise following her appearance at Augusta National in April, which was captured in a widely-seen TikTok video.

In the clip from the Double Bogey account, Kikumoto can be seen standing behind eventual champion Jon Rahm and runner-up Brooks Koepka at the 16th tee box.

“Somehow I feel in love with someone I only saw for 15 seconds,” the video’s caption read.

Kikumoto then identified herself in the comments section, writing: “Thts me.”

The budding model recently opened up about the expereince to the U.K.’s Daily Star, calling the ordeal “an interesting ride.”

“I wasn’t expecting to happen in this sort of fashion,” she said. “It’s something I wanted at some point to grow my brand and be a positive influence for good. While all this is unfolding I’m still trying to do homework, study for exams, Pom commitments and other things.”

In a separate interview with the outlet, Kikumoto spoke about future endeavors and potential influencing opportunities, perhaps carving out a path similar to Paige Spiranac.

“I definitely want to become an influencer for sure and do great things,” she said in April.

“As I look at this opportunity, I’m looking to be a multi-disciplined influencer, whether that be dance, golf, modeling, etc. I’ve got other interests as well which will be announced shortly. I’m sort of like a Swiss army knife.”

In the meantime, it appears Kikumoto will be cheering on golf’s biggest stars in upstate New York as the major tournament extends through the weekend.
