What. A. Game.

The Rangers won a thriller in double overtime Tuesday night, 4-3, over the Hurricanes.

The Blueshirts have a commanding 2-0 series lead as they head down to Raleigh for Games 3 and 4.

The first two games both went down to the wire and this series is far from over.

To react to the incredible win and look ahead to the next to games, we bring you a new episode of the “Up In The Blue Seats” podcast with Brian Boyle, Mollie Walker and Larry Brooks.

Up In The Blue Seats Podcast with Brian Boyle, Mollie Walker and Larry Brooks:

  • DOUBLE OT VICTORY: Rangers are now 6-0 in the playoffs. They stick with it and find ways to win. What a classic game.
  • TROCHECK: He’s an essential player for this Rangers team. One of big free agent signings that has gone incredibly well for the Rangers.
  • IGOR: Historic performance with 54 saves keeping them in the game.
  • UP 2-0: Rangers defended home ice, but the series is far from over. Would be big to at least take one down in Carolina and have a chance to close it out at home.
  • “UNDERDOGS”: Mollie hates those calling the Rangers “underdogs” and believes they deserve a lot more respect than some people are giving them.
