Peter Botte returned to the New York Post sports department in 2019 after previously working at the newspaper from 1990-97. The Boston University graduate has covered the Yankees, Knicks and Islanders as a beat reporter during his 32-year career in the New York tabloids. Botte, a Long Island native, covers all of the local pro teams, as well as college basketball, golf and tennis as a general assignment reporter.
