A native of Russia who grew up in the family of an army officer, she earned a bachelor of science degree in journalism and Italian from St. John's University in 2007, followed by a master's degree in journalism from Columbia University School of Journalism in 2008. Snejana speaks four languages, loves to travel and enjoys cooking and baking.
