How to watch Thursday Night Football Jets-Browns on Prime Video: time, streaming

Though the New York Jets are definitively out of the NFL playoffs this season, the outcome of tonight’s final Thursday Night Football against the Cleveland Browns can influence the playoff picture.

The 10-5 Browns are in a position to clinch their second playoff berth since 2002 with a win or tie tonight thanks, in part, to QB (and former New York Jets backup) Joe Flacco’s recent resurgence.

Flacco hasn’t started every game since starter Deshaun Watson’s season-ending shoulder injury in Week 10, but he’ll start his fifth consecutive game tonight. After a Week 13 loss, Flacco led the Browns to three straight wins, including a Christmas Eve win against the Houston Texans.

The Jets are also entering tonight’s game with a backup quarterback and a win in Week 16. Trevor Siemian will get another shot at QB while Zach Wilson is still out with a concussion.

In a game that should have highlighted a QB matchup between Watson and Aaron Rodgers, we’ll see a different one that proves 2023 really is the NFL’s Year of the Backup Quarterback.
